The aim of this course is to enable a learner to understand the different types of EWP’s, how they work and what type of work it is intended for.
The aim of this course is to enable a learner to understand the different types of EWP’s, how they work and what type of work it is intended for.
As well as identify hazards and controls during practical use of EWP in a stowed and at height task, students will learn to develop an emergency procedure plan and complete the necessary documentation required which may include a JSA, Permit to Work or Safe Operating Procedure.
Learners will be able to identify the relevant equipment required for the task, inspect the equipment and be able to effectively fit and use the equipment.
On our public courses, we will be covering the EWP theory and training on scissor lifts and self-propelled booms only.
For our inhouse courses, we can offer training on the EWP theory and any machines of choice such as scissor lifts, self-propelled booms, vertical lifts and truck-mounted and trailer-mounted EWP's.
