This intensive course equips learners with the knowledge and confidence to conduct internal health and safety management systems audits.
Duration: 2 days
Auditing is one of the most valuable tools for management to be kept informed about the actual status of their health and safety management system. A health and safety management system provides the management framework and enables auditors to monitor performance so improvements can be proposed and implemented as required.
An internal health and safety auditor needs good knowledge of key New Zealand health and safety management standards. They must also be able to plan and conduct an audit, document and report results.
This intensive course covers the ISO 19011:2018 auditing guidelines, and covers how to develop and audit in accordance with ISO 45001 (the new internationally recommended health and safety standard), WorkSafe SafePlus, or your company’s own health and safety management system.
